Spite and Malice is a drinking game in the Card Games category for 2-4 players that takes about 15-30 min with a medium difficulty level.
Race to empty your pile onto center stacks
Grab a standard deck of cards and shuffle thoroughly. Each player gets a 'payoff pile' of 20 cards dealt face-down in front of them, with the top card flipped face-up. Leave the rest of the deck as the draw pile in the center, and clear a space nearby for up to four center stacks that will build from Ace to King.
Keep an eye on the center stacks and plan your moves; holding an Ace or a Two until you can chain multiple cards in one turn can give you an edge. If your payoff pile's top card is playable, prioritize it,getting through that pile is the key to winning. If a player misses an obvious move, call them out to enforce a drink penalty,it keeps the game sharp and fun. Stack your discard piles strategically to avoid blocking yourself later; grouping similar cards together can save you headaches.
'Saboteur Mode': Players can play cards onto opponents' discard piles, but only if it matches the top card. 2. 'Double Trouble': Use two decks shuffled together and allow up to eight center stacks, increasing chaos and opportunities to play. 3. 'Sudden Death': Reduce each player's payoff pile to 10 cards instead of 20, making the game faster and riskier.
