Setup

Have everyone sit or stand in a circle where they can make eye contact with each other. Choose one player to be the 'Moderator' who secretly selects the murderer by tapping their shoulder or whispering their role. The murderer's task is to eliminate players by winking at them discreetly without getting caught. Each player should have a drink ready for penalties.

Tips & Strategies

If you're the murderer, time your winks carefully,too fast and you'll get caught, too slow and you won't eliminate anyone. Non-murderers should watch for suspicious changes in behavior or overly long eye contact, especially after someone 'dies.' Moderators can spice things up by adding fake accusations or distractions to throw players off. If you get winked at, avoid dramatic reactions that might give away the murderer immediately.

If someone accuses the murderer and they're correct, the murderer drinks and the game resets with a new murderer selected.

Can I accuse someone if I’m dead?

No, once you've been winked at, you're out of the game and can't participate in accusations or discussions.

What do I do if multiple people have been winked at and no one’s accused the murderer?

The moderator can step in to drop hints, or establish a rule to speed things up,such as forcing everyone to drink if no one accuses within three minutes of the first 'death.'

Can the moderator drink or participate?

The moderator doesn't drink during the game and acts as a neutral party, but they can join in accusations in variations like Double Agents or Silent Accusations.
