Confessions is a drinking game in the No Equipment category for 4-15 players that takes about 15-30 min with a medium difficulty level.
Confess or face the drink
Sit everyone in a circle, keeping drinks within arm's reach. Choose one player to start as the Question Master. Prepare a list of juicy, personal, or outrageous 'confession' questions beforehand, or let the Question Master make them up on the spot. Make sure all players have their drinks ready for penalties.
Start with light or funny questions to warm everyone up, saving the heavy-hitting or scandalous ones for later rounds when people are more comfortable. As Question Master, aim for questions that are specific enough to make players hesitate but broad enough for everyone to have something to confess. If someone refuses to confess, ensure they take a full sip or shot, not just a tiny taste. Keep the pace snappy by setting a short timer for each player's response to avoid drawn-out pauses.
Truth Roulette: Instead of the Question Master asking every round, spin a bottle or use a random generator to pick who asks the next question.. Double Down Confessions: If a player confesses, they must pick someone else to elaborate on or add to their story,or else that person drinks.. Penalty Questions: Include 'trap' questions that force players automatically to take a drink if they cannot answer with a yes or no (e.g., 'How old were you in your first bad breakup?').
Players: 4-15 | Duration: 15-30 min | Difficulty: medium
