Tips & Strategies
Pay close attention to picture cards; Kings, Queens, and Jacks are all high, so betting 'lower' after one appears is usually safer. Aces can ruin your streak, so don't get too confident when you're on a roll. Keep track of how many cards have been flipped,if you notice a lot of high cards already out, it's more likely the next card will be lower. When assigning drinks for streaks, spread them out tactically if your opponent is struggling, or unload all on them if they seem invincible.
Variations
Ace Roulette: Instead of breaking streaks, an Ace forces the person who flipped it to finish their drink. Double Down: Players can bet two drinks on their guess instead of one for double points if correct, but double drinks if they're wrong. Streak Saver: If a player flips an Ace, they can take two penalty drinks to keep their streak going.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What happens if two cards of the same value are flipped back-to-back?
- A tie (same value cards) counts as a loss for the person guessing, so they drink 1 and their streak ends.
- What if the deck runs out while someone is on a streak?
- The game ends when the deck is exhausted, and streaks don't carry over to a new deck. Count your correct guesses to determine the winner.
- Can I assign all 3 or 5 drinks from a streak to just one person?
- Yes, you can assign all the drinks from a streak to one person, or split them however you like. It's your call.
- Does an Ace flipped as the first card of the game break a streak?
- No, streaks only start counting after the first guess. An Ace as the first card just sets the stage for the second flip.
